Beck made this for dinner after happy hour last night and it was really good. Adapted off of the Mark Bittman blog.

This pre-supposes you receive an ice cream maker or attachment for your wedding, but hey. Eve made this when I was up visiting her and it was AWESOME, and I’m not even a sweets person. This is a Food Network recipe.

John made this once for me and some friends and I thought it was just delicious. It’s a good entertaining dish because it’s not too difficult, but is homey and will please picky eaters. PS: Serve with garlic bread, egg noodles and broccoli.

That post title sounds dirty for some reason. Probably because I’m twelve.
These are two of John’s go-to entertaining recipes. I made them myself last night for Scrabble, and they went over really well, particularly the hot roast beef. And they’re so easy, it’s almost embarrassing to call them recipes.
Spanish croquetas

Becky and I made this recipe once when we were having a Spanish feast together, based on a Washington Post recipe. I think this would have benefitted from the use of my deep fryer, as we could have better controlled the temp of the oil.
